The Warrior 40 was once featured in Yachting Monthly's Bluewater dream boat list.

With her long fin keel, over engineered construction, skeg hung rudder, cutter rig, bright airy saloon and good accommodation, it's easy to see why. But with her comfortable interior and sea kindly motion she is equally at home being used as a quality coastal cruiser.

This example has, what many believe, to be the best internal layout consisting of a large double cabin forward, a twin cabin to starboard, a large heads and shower to port, comfortable saloon and galley, double navigators berth to port behind chart table and a twin/double bunk cabin to starboard with another heads/shower to starboard.

She is a club boat for the Go Sailing Association in Southampton and has had a continuous programme of maintenance and upgrades.

This programme included, most notably, a £50,000 re-fit in 2006 at Desty Marine which included a new engine, bow thruster, heating, hatches and a full interior makeover including upholstery and varnish work. (Receipts available on request)

She would now benefit from having the floor and some of the galley re-varnished but the upholstery and interior head linings are all in good condition.

Yachting Monthly had this to say when they reviewed the 40.

"For comfort both at sea an in port, you’ll have to go a long way to find a better boat. Her accommodation is sensible and roomy, yet practical. She has the form stability and easy motion for running down the Trades but is stiff enough to bash upwind."

Full details are in the specification section but highlights include:
