Description

Beneteau Oceanis 411 Celebration for sale.

The Oceanis 411 was a very successful yacht for Beneteau, easily handled but also fast and capable, with many of these yachts regularly crossing the Atlantic.

This desirable celebration model has the taller rig, a higher level of trim and a very pleasing combination of rich joinery and dark blue and white trimmed upholstery below.

Her accommodation is very good indeed for her size. The saloon and galley are spacious and well laid out for comfortable living, as is the very sociable cockpit.

The large forward double cabin has an ensuite heads/shower room and there are two large double cabins aft with an additional heads/shower room.

L’escargot bleu had a new forestay and roller furler fitted in July 2011 and a new backstay and backstay adjuster were fitted in May 2012.

Advancing years for her owner have meant that she has had very light use recently, so she is now reluctantly for sale.

Full details are in the specification section, but her highlights include

Recent upgraded Raymarine Hybrid Touch Plotters at helm and nav station
Raymarine Instruments and autopilot
Standard Horizon VHF (new May 2011) at nav station with RAM mic to binnacle
AIS transponder
Hyde Sails 140% Genoa
Fully battened main with two reefs with all lines led back to cockpit
Ball bearing cars run on a track fitted to the rear face of the mast
80cms taller than standard, Z-Spars double spreader masthead rigged mast
Electric winch in the cockpit
55HP Volvo engine with Volvo 3 bladed folding prop
Eberspacher cabin heating
New 2013 Sprayhood by Tecsew

OWNERS COMMENTS:

Bought as the culmination of many years’ experience and set up with new navigational electronics in anticipation of a swansong or two in home waters, L’escargot has sadly not been used to her full potential due to her owner’s illness and is now offered for sale as a well found, well set-up family cruiser. Easily handled by two, the boat has relatively few sea miles in recent years but has been recommissioned and brought up to date with a full engine service and winterization and thorough inside and out professional deep clean to be ready for her next adventure. A much regretted sale, age and infirmity have forced her owner to swallow the anchor and retire with a lifetime of sailing memories.
