Throughout my 18 years of ownership of Antrice she has been berthed at Stanwick and during that time I have tried to maintain her to a high standard and to improve her and bring her up to more modern standards.

Some of the work has been done by me with help from other sailing friends (who are also boat owners) I have used (where possible) the on- site trades and engineers to maintain her. She is washed down every month to ensure that grime from the refinery and power station site (we are downwind most of the time) does not build up.

Unfortunately, due to a combination of (initially) work circumstances, and then over the past 3 years ongoing health issues, I have not been able to make much use of Antrice. I have only managed a few short sailing trips each year, which in total amount to less than 1,000 nautical miles.

Reluctantly I have concluded that it makes more sense to sell her to another owner who will continue to look after her and have as much pleasure from sailing her as I have had over the years.
