Description

Moody 46 For Sale

The Moody 46 is a superb high-performance vessel for blue-water cruising. She accommodates seven, but can be sailed comfortably by two people, with In-mast furling and all her controls located easily to hand within the comfortable and secure centre cockpit.

Regarded by many as the optimum layout for extended liveaboard cruising, with her bright and airy deck saloon configuration, the Bill Dixon designed Moody 46 is a sought after and respected cruiser that also turns heads in the marina or anchorage.

Accomodation is excellent with a large centreline double fwd cabin, fwd heads and shower, twin bunk cabin fwd to port, single aft passage cabin and a large centreline double aft cabin with en-suite heads and shower.

This example was built in 1998 but not launched until 2000 and was in fact the 2000 boat show model.

Purchased by her current owners in 2014 and extensively re-fitted for an extended sailing trip, unfortunately unexpected business commitments mean the trip has had to be postponed.

Relectantly Zoe is now for sale.

OWNERS COMMENTS:

We bought our boat for what was planned to be an extended time at sea and I was drawn to S/Y Zoe because of the Moody reputation. She has undergone several upgrades in order to ensure she would be a safe vessel for our family. We have enjoyed sailing her but with a change in circumstances it is time for her to go to a new family.
