The Ed Dubois designed centre cockpit Oceanquest is a successful yacht from Westerly and derived from the Seahawk range. The Oceanquest is a well built and capable yacht, with many undertaking long distance voyages, but she is thoughtfully laid out and easy to sail shorthanded.
She has absolutely fantastic accommodation for her size with a luxurious saloon complete with a wraparound sofa and two armchairs. She has high quality joinery and cabinetry, a safe and secure galley with double sinks, a good size forward facing chart table and a palatial aft cabin with a full size island berth which is accessible from both sides.
Standing headroom is also excellent. The fwd cabin has good standing headroom and a double v berth with more quality joinery and cabinetry for stowage. The heads is again of generous size with basin and shower.
This particular example has had a very comprehensive re-fit from 2012-2016 with many upgrades and additions, most notably:

June 2014 – Replace masthead light with new LED, fitted TV aerial & VHF aerial, running rigging replaced where required, rigging also checked.

July 2015 – M & G Marine - Kiwi prop fitted, fuel was contaminated so fuel system & tank drained and cleaned through, new drain fitted in fuel tank sump, engine serviced, all filters changed and checked. Professional wax & polish of hull.
