Firstly our thoughts are with all those around the world fighting the virus or protecting others.
We wish to reassure all of our clients that health and safety is at the forefront of everything we are doing and that we will be available to help you with your yacht purchase or sale when the situation improves.
We are now working completely from home and running a virtual office. During this time we can still be reached via all our usual email and telephone channels if you need us.
Our listings have full specifications, comprehensive up to date photographs and in many cases interior walkthrough videos, allowing you to browse the yachts from your armchair.
We will be continuing to market our yachts through all available channels. All of our worldwide advertising accounts are fully operational and will remain so.
However, as per government advice, physical viewings and valuation inspections will not be permissible until restrictions are lifted and the marinas re-open.
Please follow the current government advice here: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Yacht listings, purchases and legal conveyancing can all be completed if safe to do so using the up-to-date digital operations we already have in place via; telephone, internet, digital document creation, digital signatures, digital banking, email and Royal Mail Special Delivery if required.
We are fortunate to be well capitalised and have the resources to batten down the hatches and wait until this particular storm is over.
Please follow our facebook page for more updates.
We will get through this and we will all go sailing again.
In the meantime, stay safe and please join us in looking out for the vulnerable and those that need help, as well as supporting the NHS and all the emergency staff on the front-line working so hard to defeat this.
The long-distance cruising and sailing community has always been a naturally helpful and “pay it forward” crowd. Now is the time to really do that for those that need help.
If you are currently cruising, Noonsite is giving good information with regard to restrictions and port operations as well as general advice.
If you are stranded in a port somewhere in the world and just want a friendly voice, please don’t hesitate to call or email us.
We wish you and your families all the best during these unprecedented times.
