Re-fitted Moody 40 for sale. New standing rigging, all new keel bolts, new seacocks and much more.

The Bill Dixon designed Moody 40 cleverly combines an excellent interior layout with good seakeeping to produce a yacht that is not only very capable, but will also keep her crew comfortable and happy.

The aft cabin contains a large double centreline berth with en-suite heads, the saloon is spacious and open, the galley is well laid out and secure and two further cabins provide four more berths along with another en-suite head and a two more berths in the saloon.

This particular example has a smart interior and is well set up for live aboard cruising with a custom stainless crossbar, set aft, designed to carry solar panels, wind generator, davits and a passerelle etc.

OWNERS COMMENTS:

Kingklipper was purchased from Fox’s Yard in Ipswich in 2000. I had her sailed out to Larnaca in Cyprus, where she was based until 2003, when I sailed her to Club Marina in Gocek in SW Turkey. She has been maintained professionally throughout my ownership and I have gradually upgraded her specification. For the past 12 years Kingklipper has cruised the Turkish coast from Finike in the South to Kusadasi in the West and has also visited most of the Greek Dodacanese islands, Rhodes to Samos. Like all Moodys she has an easy motion at sea with an impressive turn of speed when required. She is in wonderful condition and is testament to the quality built-in to the Moody brand. I am now in my 70’s and advancing years have reluctantly caused me to contemplate life without my beloved Kingklipper.
