Oyster 435 For Sale

UPDATE SEPT 2015

This yacht has just been fitted with a brand new Beta Marine 60HP engine by TS Marine in the Hamble.

On lift out to fit the new engine it was discovered there is some osmosis present. As a consequence the yacht has been professionally surveyed, and as the owner is retiring from sailing, has been reduced in price from £95,000.

The surveyor is enthusiastic about the yacht and has made the following comments:

"It is worth stating that the blistering over the hull is not considered serious and while re-treatment for osmosis may be a consideration, the presence of the blistering is restricted to the outer filler and not in the laminate. As such the osmosis blistering is not considered structural but more cosmetic.

Price of Peace’ was found in overall fair condition for her age with clear evidence of extensive past maintenance and significant updating over the past 30 years. No significant structural or safety related recommendations were made in the report. The vessel was attended on the 18th September 2015 and It is understood with the vessel back afloat that the new engine will be run-up and fully commissioned by TS Marine. The engine has been installed to a high standard."

The full survey is available on request to seriously interested parties.

A great opportunity to own an Iconic and desirable blue water cruiser that may otherwise have been out of reach. She has a unique fwd layout with two totally separate single cabins.Cutter rigged, she is well equipped with a bow thruster, chartplotter at helm, SSB receiver, AIS, cabin heating and three blade feathering Maxprop.

Full details are in the specification section.
